Adam Jennings, Owner
How long have you worked here?
I’m the noob. Since January 2021.
What do you like about working at NB?
I am surrounded by really talented and inspiring folks. It’s a pleasure to come in and see how engaged and passionate everyone is about the things they’re doing everyday. I feel really blessed to have discovered such a great group of people.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
We moved quite a bit when I was a kid, but primarily grew up in Illinois and Oklahoma. I moved to Minnesota in 1994 and haven’t looked back. I now live in Tonka Bay.
What was your first pet?
The first had to be Scruffy. She was a “mutt” by any definition, but she was my first puppy that we got when I was about 4. I also had a cat named Robert, a frog named Scooter, and later on in life—my total buddy—Charlie, the lab mix.
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
Spending time with my kids, our dog Emma, pursuing my private pilot’s license, and woodworking.
What would you do with a million dollars?
I would buy a premier boarding facility near an airport with the goal of being the best…. oh wait. ;-)

Where are you from and where do you live now?
I grew up in St Louis Park & Minnetonka, I now live in South Minneapolis
What was your first pet?
A female Rottweiler named Luka.
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
Run & read
What would you do with a million dollars?
Buy a farm and start a sanctuary for farm animals & cats, lots of cats!

What do you like about working at NB?
Getting to know all the wonderful dogs!
Where are you from and where do you live now?
Beloit Wisconsin, though I also lived in Madison for 12 years also. I have lived in South Minneapolis since 1994.
What was your first pet?
We always had dogs and cats when growing up- I also had pet turtles, gerbils, goldfish and a baby raccoon at one time.
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
I have several plots in a Community garden, I have a passion for collecting music from the 1960’s and the late 1970’s, and I also volunteer at the Minneapolis Animal Shelter
What would you do with a million dollars?
I would buy a house in the country where I could have dogs, cats, chickens and lots of vegetable gardens and apple trees.

What do you like about working at NB?
I love seeing how excited our pets are as they walk through our doors! Caring for all our cats, dogs and critters while their parents are away or at work has always been fulfilling.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I'm from East Texas and just moved to Minnesota in December of 2019.
What was your first pet?
My family adopted a black lab/chow mix named Molly soon after I was born, and we grew up together.
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
I spend all my free time with my husband, our two year old boy and our cat, Gideon. We love exploring new places and just having fun together.
What would you do with a million dollars?
Firstly, invest; then travel the world

What do you like about working at NB?
Seeing all the animals healthy and happy, it's fuzz therapy.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
North Minneapolis, currently residing in Hawthorne.
What was your first pet?
A guinea pig names Guinevere
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
Camping and hiking.
What would you do with a million dollars?
Start a rescue.

What do you like about working at NB?
Seeing how happy all of our furry clients are when they are here. I especially love seeing the smiling dogs! My co-workers are awesome too!
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I grew up in Inver Grove Heights. I currently live in Burnsville.
What was your first pet?
My first pet was my family dog named Tuffy. He was the cutest Beagle, Bassett Hound , Golden Retriever mix ever.
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
I like to hang out with my kids. I do a little reading and floating in the pool or at the lake during the few warmer months that we have here in Minnesota. I also love to ice fish. It makes the winter a little more bearable
What would you do with a million dollars?
I would buy land and start a sanctuary for exotic animals. I would also take in special needs animals and older dogs and cats

What do you like about working at NB?
What I love about working here is that we are able to cater to each and every pet’s individual needs because of the facility’s size and structure, that makes me feel satisfied and happy at the end of my shift, knowing that any pet who stays here had an enriching day!
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I grew up in Chanhassen, MN. I currently live in Eden Prairie and hope to stay around the Minneapolis area.
What was your first pet?
The goodest boy. A golden retriever named Max!
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
I enjoy going on hikes and visiting state parks with my adventure buddy, Faith (my dog)! I like tasting what’s new on tap at local breweries. I am also a sucker for a good crime drama, tv show or podcast!
What would you do with a million dollars?
Donate a percentage to a nonprofit for animals in need of a home. Invest the rest because my goal is to be a small business owner!
